Post 2010 Updated Blata Ultima Reply with quote
Blata have updated the 2009 Ultima.
These modifications are from testing over the 2009 season to produce a stronger, better handleing 2010 Ultima.
Apart from the below changes, they have also changed their Ultra light rims, rear brake caliper bracket and footpeg mounts.

Avaliable from Oz Minimoto very soon.

Hey Daz,
Looks like Blata are really upping the Ante now.
Good to see some more competitive bikes out there available at a reasonable price.
What was wrong with the original Ultima they produced 2008/ earlier this year?

There was too much flex in the rear swing arm, so they have stiffened it up with the rear supports and swingarm.
The other updates were just minor changes.

Very nice Daz. Love the carbon fibre forks. Looking very nice and clean.
Is that the new Blata 50cc motor in that? Interesting to see how it goes compaired to the previous one.

Nice to see that you have received them now.
I guess you have better weather down there then here... 1 feet of snow and -5deg C, so no test ride for me Sad
Looking forward to here how they run after your first test run.

1st race meeting was over the last weekend.
My son Ethan rode the bike in the races.
He won all four races on his new Ultima 50cc watercooled.
The bike has very good power and handles very well, much like the WRS Elite bike he rode last year, but better.
Power is strong and pulled very well.
I did find the carby requires some tunning, I had to richen up the idle by raiseing the needle.
I will try a 50 pilot jet to help the lag from idle to full power.

I am waiting on a DVD from the weekend with all races on it.
I will upload the races to youtube when I have the DVD.
